Prime Pizza is bringing its California take on classic New York-style pizza to Orange County with the opening of its first location in Mission Viejo on Monday, Nov. 3. The shop is currently open with limited hours as the team prepares for its grand opening celebration. To celebrate, Prime Pizza will give away merch and serve free slices from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (limit one per person) on Nov. 3 at its newest shop at 24420 Alicia Parkway.

Jack Johnson Headlines Two-Night Coast Film & Music Benefit Concert

The Coast Film & Music Festival has opened single-day ticket sales for its upcoming festival, taking place November 1–9 at multiple venues throughout Laguna Beach. The seventh annual event launches November 1 at the Rivian South Coast Theater with a screening of The Eyes of Ghana. The festival will conclude with two feature films: Love + War by Academy Award winners Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, and musician Jack Johnson’s The September Sessions.

Fall Fun at The District: Halloween Boo Bash and Cocktail Tour

The District at Tustin Legacy is getting into the fall spirit with two festive events this October: the Halloween Boo Bash and the Fall Cocktail Tour. Families are invited to the annual Halloween Boo Bash on Saturday, Oct. 25, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Promenade. The free, family-friendly celebration features trick-or-treating, music, creepy crafts, balloon twisters, face painting, and a special meet-and-greet with Labubu. Costumes are encouraged, and guests are welcome to explore The District’s shops, restaurants, and entertainment before or after the event.

Dolly Parton’s Songs Come to Life with Pacific Symphony

Pacific Symphony honors one of America’s most beloved storytellers with “Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony” on November 14 and 15 at 8 p.m. at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa. Led by Principal Pops Conductor Enrico Lopez-Yañez, the multimedia concert takes audiences on a visual and musical journey through Dolly Parton’s songs, life, and stories. The performance features Dolly on screen, joined by a cast of guest vocalists and musicians performing new orchestral arrangements by David Hamilton.

Newport Beach Film Festival Announces 2025 Honors

The Newport Beach Film Festival will host its 2025 Festival Honors on Sunday, Oct. 19, at Balboa Bay Resort in partnership with Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch. This year’s honorees include Diane Lane (“Anniversary”), Mark Hamill (“Life of Chuck”), and Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser (“Rental Family”), who will each receive the Icon Award. Kerry Condon (“F1” and “Train Dreams”) and Jenny Slate (“Dying for Sex”) will receive the Artist of Distinction Award. Tessa Thompson (“Hedda”) will be honored with the Outstanding Achievement in Acting Award. Noah Schnapp (“Stranger Things”) will receive the Spotlight Award. Francine Maisler (“Sinners” and “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere”) will receive the Casting Visionary Award, and journalist and screenwriter Steven Gaydos will be honored with the Arts Champion Award.
