World Ballet Company returns to Southern California with its acclaimed production of “Swan Lake,” bringing the classic ballet to Irvine Barclay Theatre in Irvine on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25 as part of its 2025-2026 national tour. The performances are among more than 80 stops scheduled for the second half of the season as the company continues to take one of ballet’s most enduring works to stages across the country.
Festival Ballet Theatre returns to the Irvine Barclay Theatre this spring with its vibrant, full-length production of Don Quixote, featuring acclaimed guest artists Jeraldine Mendoza and Dylan Gutierrez of Chicago’s Joffrey Ballet in the lead roles of Kitri and Basilio. Performances take place Saturday, March 21, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 22, at 2 p.m.
Ignite Dance marks 35 years of extraordinary performances at Irvine Barclay Theatre on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 8 p.m. The program features seven distinguished ensembles with deep ties to Orange County and a legacy of performances on the Barclay stage. Segerstrom Center for the Arts will present San Francisco Ballet’s Frankenstein for five performances only, Oct. 2 to 5, 2025. The production is choreographer Liam Scarlett’s acclaimed interpretation of Mary Shelley’s classic novel. Set to an original score by Lowell Liebermann, the work is performed live by the Pacific Symphony under the direction of conductor Martin West. Scarlett’s version of the gothic tale blends choreography, music, pyrotechnics, and dramatic storytelling.
