A MASTERPIECE OF A RECEPTION!
We're excited to see the incredible work of two acclaimed artists, Amy Paul and Deborah Brenner, at a reception at Studio Chameleon on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Deborah Brenner's paintings have a distinctive style. She combines techniques,
both spatial and linear design, with textural effects. Her modern Asian paintings are simultaneously bold and subtle.
"The success of my art is not only in how it looks but how it feels and touches one's spirit," Brenner says.
Color, composition and abstraction come together in Amy Paul's paintings--inspired by her environment, people and activities in her life. Through a process of continuously applying and removing excess paint, her work is the product of necessary layers. In addition to her continued work as an educator and illustrator, she maintains a commitment to art and experimentation.
It's also a great time to check out Studio Chameleon. The unique store in Westcliff Court blends fine art from internationally acclaimed artists with the finest furnishings, accessories and gifts. You have to visit to understand the experience. Owned by award-winning interior designer (and super friendly) Eve Lowey and her partner Darsi Rubin, the store's talented staff is always available to share their gifts with you.
