26th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival Announces 2025 Lineup

The Newport Beach Film Festival will return October 16–23 for its 26th year, showcasing more than 100 feature films and 250 shorts from 32 countries. The festival opens October 16 with Richard Linklater’s Blue Moon, starring Ethan Hawke, Margaret Qualley, Bobby Cannavale and Andrew Scott. It closes October 23 with Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, starring Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, Oscar Isaac and Christoph Waltz.

Tastemakers of Orange County Returns to Segerstrom Center for the Arts

The Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCAPICA) will host the return of its Tastemakers of Orange County on Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa. The culinary celebration will showcase the rich and diverse flavors of Asian and Pacific Islander cuisine, created by more than two dozen of Orange County’s top chefs. Guests will enjoy exclusive, all-you-can-eat dishes in a lively outdoor setting, while supporting OCAPICA programs in mental health, youth development, housing assistance, policy education, and anti-Asian racism initiatives.
