American Legion Post 291 Centennial Celebration Set for July 4th Holiday Weekend

American Legion Post 291, a steadfast supporter of veterans in Newport Beach and surrounding areas, announces its centennial celebration, marking 100 years of dedicated service to local veterans. Established on April 24, 1924, Post 291 has been a beacon of camaraderie, advocacy, and essential resources for those who have served the nation. For the past century, the Post has fostered a sense of belonging among veterans, championed their rights at all levels of government, and raised awareness of their unique challenges. The centennial celebration will take place over the July 4th holiday weekend, from July 4th to July 6th, featuring a variety of community events and activities.
