On view through Aug. 30, California Kinship: Painting Homelife in the Golden State Before 1940 invites guests into the private worlds of early 20th-century Californians. Curated by Langson IMCA Assistant Curator Michaëla Mohrmann, Ph.D., the exhibition features portraits and scenes of everyday life—capturing moments of intimacy, care, and connection at home. Many of the works on view are drawn from the museum’s Buck Collection.

Head to The District at Tustin Legacy for Parenting OC's FREE Learn & Grow Family Fair on Saturday, September 14th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a day full of fun and educational activities for all ages! Enjoy live entertainment, games & activities, face-painting, balloon art, and more than 50 exhibitors from Rolling Robots and Urban Workshop to Aqua-Tots Swim School and Segerstrom Center for the Arts. There will also be costumed characters from Creative Parties for Kids, including T-Rex and Princesses.

Culinary Entrepreneurship & Workforce Initiative Reaches Funding Milestone

The Store One hub in Anaheim, designed to foster culinary entrepreneurship and workforce training, has reached a significant funding milestone. The project has secured $7.75 million in public funding for construction and $3 million from private donations to support equipment and operational expenses. Located at the former site of the first Northgate González Market on Anaheim Boulevard, construction is set to begin this fall.
