Orange County Restaurant Week, an entire week dedicated to celebrating local restaurants, returns this Sunday, March 6 through Saturday, March 12. When brothers Eddie and Don Sheldrake opened their third Polly’s Pie location in Long Beach’s California Heights neighborhood in winter of 1972, Richard Nixon was president, the Oldsmobile Cutlass was the most popular car on the highway and gas was 36-cents a gallon.
