Crystal Cove Conservancy is excited to announce the upcoming exhibition, Transformative Currents: Art and Action in the Pacific Ocean, in partnership with Getty's PST ART: Art & Science Collide. Hosted in Crystal Cove’s historic Cottage #46, this exhibition will feature the multimedia installation Mare Liberum, Reimagined (2024) by artists Maja Godlewska and Marek Ranis, on display from September 21, 2024, through January 19, 2025.Mare Liberum, Reimagined blends suspended elements with virtual reality, inviting visitors to navigate a kelp forest maze made of mesh screen paintings, enhanced by VR films.
