Surf & Sand Resort Hosts Free Mobile Vaccination Clinic

Surf & Sand Resort, in conjunction with the OC Health Care Agency, will host a free vaccine clinic on Friday, Sept. 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Sand Castle Ballroom. The clinic will offer both Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson doses. Throughout the day, attendees can also enjoy tasty treats from the Ruby’s Diner Food Truck.While doses will be reserved for those who pre-register for the clinic, walk-ins are also welcome.To register for the free vaccine, scan the QR code here and use code VSR7Q. World’s Largest Trash Cleanup Event Returns to OC

Coastal Cleanup Day is making its in-person comeback on Sept. 18 after a year hiatus. To observe this day, Orange County Coastkeeper is coordinating cleanup sites throughout the county, providing supplies, and collecting data on behalf of the California Coastal Commission.This is Coastkeeper’s sixth year hosting Coastal Cleanup Day. The volunteer beach cleanup is from 9 a.m. to noon and it includes more than 30 sites throughout Orange County.
