The Plant-O-Rama plant sale is making a comeback at Sherman Gardens on Saturday and Sunday, July 20 & 21. This retro event, first introduced in 1972, will feature a diverse array of plants and plant experts from various participating plant societies, including the California Native Plant Society, Los Angeles International Fern Society, Newport Harbor Orchid Society, Orange County Begonia Society, Saddleback Valley Bromeliad Society, and Southern California Carnivorous Plant Enthusiasts.Originally started by former Gardens Director Wade Roberts as a fundraiser for the Sherman Foundation, Plant-O-Rama has a rich history.
