Stacks Pancakes’ Now in Irvine

Stacks Pancake House, an original Orange County breakfast spot that specializes in Hawaiian inspired breakfasts and lunches, just opened its third location at Walnut Village Center in Irvine. The original Stacks is in Dana Point, and Stacks is also in Mission Viejo.

Signature menu items include Captain Mac Nut French Toast, slices of King’s Hawaiian bread dipped in batter and crusted in crispy Cap’N Crunch cereal and macadamia nuts; Kalua Pork Benedict, and Loco Moco, the Aloha State’s famous comfort food dish of rice topped with a hamburger patty, fried egg and gravy.

Stacks also serves up its famous pancakes including Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes with its coconut syrup; Coconut Pineapple, Blueberry, Chocolate Chip and Oreo Cookie – along with weekly-specials and seasonal pancakes such as Blueberry Ricotta, Orange Marmalade Coconut, Snickers, Rocky Road and Red Velvet.

For lunch, you can choose from Asian fusion fare and American favorites such as Chicken Katsu Salad and Chicken Teriyaki to Turkey Avocado Melts and burgers. Lunch specials consist of Pineapple Chicken, Hawaiian Chopped Steak, Yakisoba Chicken and Bo Luc Lac, the Vietnamese-French-style filet mignon.

Stacks Pancake House is at 14421 Culver Drive in Irvine, near Smart & Final. Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
