Petit Pot Makes Its Sweet Debut in OC

April 08, 2016

San Francisco based Petit Pot and their delicious Pot de Crème French desserts are available for the first time in Southern California at select Whole Foods Markets starting this week.

Naturally gluten-free, certified organic and locally produced with wholesome ingredients, Petit Pot’s Pot de Crème are sweet, velvety like crème with the consistency of custard. They are a delicious, single-serve treat.

Petit Pots come in reusable glass jars and are available in five flavors – Dark Chocolate, Vanilla, Salted Caramel, Lemon Curd, and Strawberry Cream. You can taste them at Whole Foods Market Irvine on Saturday, April 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; or Whole Foods Market at The District in Tustin on Sunday, April 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Petit Pot was created by pastry chef Maxime Pouvreau, who grew up in Southern France and is sharing his love for decadent French desserts through Petit Pot.

“Pot de crème is already a big hit at the hottest restaurants but there’s nothing like it in grocery stores and it’s my dream for people to enjoy this delectable gourmet treat at home,” said Maxime Pouvreau. “With its smooth texture and creamy goodness in an adorable, petite jar, this French dessert with an American twist just screams ‘the next big comfort food.’”

Whole Foods Irvine is at 8525 Irvine Center Drive in Irvine.

Whole Foods Jamboree is at The District at 2847 Park Ave. in Tustin.
