Patina Restaurant Group To Debut Tiendita by Chef Carlos Gaytán

March 14, 2024

Patina Restaurant Group is excited to unveil Tiendita, the latest addition to the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, marking the culmination of Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán's culinary trilogy. Joining the ranks of Paseo and Céntrico, Tiendita promises a swift yet savory journey through Chef Gaytán’s Mexican heritage, offering a delectable array of street-food favorites.

Inspired by Chef Gaytán's deep-rooted connection to Mexican cuisine, Tiendita pays homage to his cultural legacy and passion for sharing authentic flavors. This transformed eatery will encapsulate his culinary heritage while providing a convenient and family-friendly atmosphere for guests to savor unforgettable tastes.

The menu at Tiendita draws inspiration from traditional Mexican recipes, presenting both timeless classics and contemporary interpretations. From the irresistible esquites to the tantalizing tacos al pastor, each dish reflects Chef Gaytán's childhood memories and culinary expertise. Indulge in the creamy arroz con leche for a sweet finale, adorned with aromatic hints of cinnamon and vanilla, reimagined to perfection.

As Paseo, Céntrico, and Tiendita continue to uphold Chef Gaytán's culinary legacy, the iconic Tortilla Jo’s bids farewell after two decades of cherished service. To commemorate its 20-year residency, Tortilla Jo’s invites guests to relish in special promotions and festive offerings for Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day, inviting fans to create lasting memories until its final service on March 31, 2024. Reservations through March 25 are available on the Disneyland app, ensuring a memorable farewell to this beloved establishment.

Paseo, Céntrico and Tiendita are scheduled to open in spring 2024. For more information on Chef Gaytán and Patina Restaurant Group’s newest openings, please visit PaseoAnaheim.com and CentricoAnaheim.com
