A Real Farm to Table Concept, True Seasons Organic Kitchen
When it comes to calling a restaurant a “farm to table” concept, True Seasons Organic Kitchen in Anaheim is the real deal. Owned by Chef Saifon Plewtong, everything on the menu is fresh and hand-selected from local markets daily.
In celebration of its one-year anniversary, Chef Saifon has expanded the menu to include a variety of organic wraps, salad and rice bowls, handmade fruit popsicles, and organic, fresh-pressed juices. You can also order natural ice cream, organic snow shaved ice, and ice cream shaved ice.
The new items join a curated lineup of seasonal hot pot offerings for lunch and dinner using only organic, GMO-free ingredients based on what is readily available at local farmers’ markets or from local organic growers. True Seasons’ meat and seafood is sustainably and humanely-raised and free of hormones and antibiotics, while the restaurant’s pomegranate and sesame sauces are made in-house daily with premium, locally sourced ingredients.
True Seasons Organic Kitchen regularly sources fresh produce from Sea Winds Farm in Fountain Valley and Jason Farms in Camarillo, among others.
Chef Saifon’s commitment to healthy eating and her community extends beyond True Seasons Organic Kitchen, thanks to The Free Pantry, a Costa Mesa-based nonprofit she founded 10 years ago. The endeavor began as a simple weekly food drop off to a local shelter, but soon evolved into a program that provides food, groceries, and other assistance to low-income, elderly and homeless families and individuals in Orange County. For their one year anniversary celebrations, True Seasons Organic Kitchen will donate a portion of the proceeds earned in September to The Pantry.
