Polly’s Pies Celebrates 50 Years in Long Beach

When brothers Eddie and Don Sheldrake opened their third Polly’s Pie location in Long Beach’s California Heights neighborhood in winter of 1972, Richard Nixon was president, the Oldsmobile Cutlass was the most popular car on the highway and gas was 36-cents a gallon.
