Woody’s Wharf Marks 60 Years with Music and Giving

Woody’s Wharf in Newport Beach is celebrating 60 years with a weekend of live music, food and drink specials, and a fundraiser for The Eli Home for abused children. The anniversary event runs Friday, May 30 through Sunday, June 1.Festivities begin Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. with live performances by 89 Vision, a Sublime tribute band, and DJ Sollos. Admission is $10 and includes food and drink specials starting at $6, plus a raffle ticket for prizes and Woody’s merchandise. HomeAid Orange County and Los Angeles, a recently expanded national nonprofit, will host its annual Diaper Drive community event Friday, May 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The District at Tustin Legacy.The Diaper Drive is a drive-thru drop-off event collecting diapers, wipes and baby food for families with young children who are experiencing—or at risk of—homelessness.
