Topside Roof Deck Enters into Summer

Introducing the all-new seasonal menu and extended hours at Topside Roof Deck, Newport Beach's exclusive rooftop bar. With breathtaking 360º views of Newport's marina, beaches, and peninsula, Topside is the ultimate destination for sunset lovers and visitors. Chef-Partner Riley Huddleston has drawn inspiration from the California coast to create a menu of shareable dishes that perfectly complement the coastal atmosphere.

To make the most of summer, Topside will now be open for lunch starting at noon on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This allows guests to soak up the sun while enjoying the vibrant ambiance. Chef-Partner Riley Huddleston explains, "As Newport Beach's only rooftop bar, summer is the perfect opportunity to introduce extended daytime hours. The new summer menu is designed to complement the coastal convivial atmosphere we've created at Topside."

The kitchen presents exciting new dishes, including Crispy Jidori Chicken Skewers dusted with umami, accompanied by aji verde and shishito peppers. Another highlight is the Prime Skirt Steak Quesadilla made with hoja santa-pressed blue corn tortillas and corn nut-matcha salsa. The rooftop cold kitchen, known as "The Shack," offers a raw bar experience with freshly shucked oysters, crudos, ceviche, and aguachile. Refreshing options include Yellowtail Ceviche cured with yuzu, served with pickled watermelon, cucumber, avocado, and serrano chile, as well as Shrimp Aguachile immersed in super green juice with local sweet corn and heirloom tomatoes.

In addition to the popular Topside Margarita served with a seasonal popsicle, the new menu features a range of delightful summertime cocktails. Try the bubbly Puttin' on the Spritz, crafted with Beluga vodka, yuzu, and watermelon, or the smoky Star Dust, a mezcal-based cocktail balanced with herbaceous Chartreuse and delicate vanilla sweetness. Topside takes pride in its selection of premium Champagnes and offers the Signature Lido House Cuvée, a unique collaboration between Chef-Partner Riley Huddleston and French Champagne House, Piper Heidsieck. For those seeking non-alcoholic options, a full seasonal selection of zero-proof cocktails made with Seedlip and Lyre spirits is available.

Guests can also look forward to the new summer menus at Mayor's Table, located at the former site of the city's Town Hall. Chef-Partner Riley Huddleston brings the vibrant flavors of seasonal ingredients to life with artfully plated dishes. Mayor's Table serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with live acoustic music to enhance the dining experience on Fridays.
