The Lexus LaceUp Running Series

The Lexus LaceUp Running Series kicks off the season on Saturday, Sept. 3 in Orange County with a Marathon Relay, 10k, 5k and Kid’s 1k at Irvine’s Mike Ward Community Park on a fast and flat running path under shaded trees.

In association with the Lexus brand, every runner in the series is treated like a VIP through a high-quality experience, with scenic running courses with chip timing, real-time results, a tech shirt, free race photos, a high-quality finisher’s medal for every runner, a Sierra Nevada beer toast and local food-truck brunch.

5k starts at 7 a.m., 10k starts at 7:05 a.m., relay at 6:45 a.m. and kids 1k at 8:30 a.m. at 20 Lake Road in Irvine.

The next races in the Lexus LaceUp Running Series are on Oct. 22 in Ventura, Nov. 19 in Palos Verdes, and Dec. 4 in Riverside.

Packet pick-up is on Friday, Sept. 2, from noon to 7 p.m. at Road Runner Sports Costa Mesa 1835 Newport Blvd. in Costa Mesa.
