Taste of Westminster

With one ticket to the 5th Annual Taste of Westminster on Saturday, Aug. 23 from noon to 4 p.m., you can sample tasty foods from some of the top restaurants in the area.

A few of the participating eateries include barbecue treats in cocoa-tinged sauce from Chocolate Bar-B-Que; mexican snacks from Taco Surf, fresh crepes from Crepe Corner; and banh mi from Lee’s Sandwiches. For an additional charge your can sample brews from Blue Moon, Sierra Nevada, New Belgium, and Coors Light as well as wines.

The event will raise funds for the Kiwanis Club’s efforts to build a field for the Challenger Little League. A branch of Little League of America, the Challenger League allows children with developmental disabilities the opportunity to enjoy playing baseball.

Ticket prices will be $25 per adult and $10 for kids 12 and under.

The event will take place at the Westminster Sunken Gardens next to City Hall.
