Running The OC Marathon

Experience the beauty of coastal Orange County by running the U.S. Bank OC Marathon, Half Marathon on Sunday, May 7, or the Kids Run The OC and Wahoo’s OC 5k on Saturday, May 6.  You can register online, or at the OC Lifestyle & Expo on Marathon weekend beginning Friday, May 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa. The two-day OC Lifestyle & Expo showcases local and national brands in the wellness, health and fitness industry. The event weekend promotes wellness and helps charity partners reach a goal of $1 million.

The challenging Full Marathon on Sunday, May 7 starts at 5:30 a.m. in front of the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa adjacent to Fashion Island. The course runs through communities of Newport Beach, Costa Mesa and Santa Ana finishing off at the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa. The Half-Marathon starts at 6:15 a.m. in front of the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa adjacent to Fashion Island and also finishes at the OC Fair and Event Center. You can also experience the Ultimate Finish-line Festival with live music and dancing.

For those who prefer shorter and quicker races, there’s the Wahoo’s OC 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 6 with a new start time at 5 p.m. The 5K course start line is west of the marathon and half marathon finish line inside the OC Fair and Event Center. Start time is 5 p.m. at the OC Fair & Event Center, 88 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa. The 5k will be followed by a full finish line festival party with music on the stage and all the fun vendors that you've come to expect.

Prices for Full Marathon: $135; Half Marathon: $125; 5K $45.
