January 24, 2023

ADYA Chef-Partners Shachi Mehra and Sandeep Basrur celebrate Lunar New Year with a special Indo-Chinese Thali, available now through Sunday, February 5 at ADYA at the Anaheim Packing House. Guests are invited to welcome the Year of the Rabbit with a unique Indian interpretation of Chinese food, combining the fiery flavors Indians love with a Chinese twist.

ADYA’s Lunar New Year Indo-Chinese Thali is a complete meal that comes with Vegetable Spring Rolls filled with cabbage, carrots and onion; bright Cabbage Salad; fragrant Basmati Rice; choice of Garlic or Butter Naan; and choice of ADYA Indo-Chinese entrées, which include:

Chilli Chicken – crispy chicken tossed in a tangy chili-garlic sauce with onions, ginger, and Serrano

Chilli Cauliflower – crisp-fried cauliflower in tangy chili-garlic sauce with onions, ginger, and Serrano

Chicken Manchurian – the ultimate Indo-Chinese dish; seasoned chicken in a scallion-ginger sauce with cilantro, garlic,, and black pepper

Cauliflower Manchurian  – an Indo-Chinese favorite; crisp cauliflower in a scallion-ginger sauce with cilantro, garlic and black pepper

“The popularity of Indian-Chinese flavors throughout India inspired us to add Indo-Chinese dishes to our menu last year,” commented Chef Basrur, who revealed that the four new Indo-Chinese dishes on the menu have been growing in popularity. “These dishes combine spicy, savory and sweet flavors, featuring Chinese ingredients like soy sauce and vinegar with garlic, ginger and chillis to create dishes with bold and unique flavor profiles.”

ADYA’s Lunar New Year Indo-Chinese Thali special is available now through February 5. ADYA is located inside the Anaheim Packing House (440 S. Anaheim Blvd #201; upper level, across from the main entrance).
