Huntington Beach Spring Symphony

The Huntington Beach Symphony presents their spring concert, “Love, Heroes, Elegance" on Sunday, March 13 at 3:30 p.m. at the Robert B. Moore Theater at Orange Coast College. The featured artists are concertmeister of Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Katia Popov (violin), the Ruslan Biryukov (cello) and Teresa de Jong-Pombo (piano).

Beethoven's Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Piano with orchestra, more commonly known as the Triple Concerto, was composed in 1803. It is the only concerto Beethoven ever completed for more than one solo instrument.

Maestro Grant Sevdayan will open the concert with Beethoven's powerful "1st movement" of Beethoven's Symphony N5. The other highlights of the concert will be Bach-Stokowsky Dmin Toccata and Fugue and 3rd and 4th mov.'s of Brahms delightful 3rd Symphony.  Also, do not miss a musical tribute to John Williams' Star Wars.

Tickets cost $10 - $28 and can be purchased online.

Robert B. Moore Theater at Orange Coast College is at 2701 Fairview Rd., Costa Mesa.
