Nuthin’ But A G Burger

August 18, 2013

It’s the golden age of burgers and the choices in burger joints are seemingly endless. Local burger lovers can now get over to the new G Burger at The Market Place in Irvine to taste the hailed G Burger originally only in La Habra, and coming soon to Fountain Valley. The OC Register ranked it one of the top ten best burgers, but look it's up to you to decide.

We’re fans of their G Fire burger 100% fresh Angus beef, pepper jack cheese, red & green chiles, roasted red bell peppers, tomato, grilled red onion, and their house spicy aioli ($9); and the Caprese Burger with 100% fresh Angus beef on a high rise bun, avocado, tomato, fresh basil and mozzarella, and house garlic aioli ($9) is fantastic too.

You can always create your own and order a G Burger with your choice of extra toppings such as teriyaki glazed onions, Portobello mushrooms, grilled fresh pineapple, fried jumbo egg, deli pastrami, avocado, bacon (applewood smoked 2 thick slices) roasted red bell peppers, extra hamburger patty and cherry peppers.

The sweet potato fries with chipotle aioli ($4) and classic French fries ($2.50) are some of our favorite sides.  There are also vegetarian friendly choices, salads, sandwiches and kids selections. G Burger prides itself on using fresh ingredients daily, 100% cholesterol free vegetable oil, no preservatives or MSG.

Open 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
