Free Summer Movie Mondays

July 10, 2015

Movie fans are in for FREE and fun musical screenings at Segerstrom Center for the Arts as Movie Mondays returns Monday, July 13 on the Arts Plaza.

Projected on the side of Segerstrom Hall, Movie Mondays kicks off at dusk (about 8 p.m.) with the screening of the campy musical and two-time Academy Award-nominee "Little Shop of Horrors".

Next up, it’s the modern-day musical mash-up, "Pitch Perfect" (July 20). Then it’s a nostalgic coming-of-age adventure, "The Sandlot" (July 27); and one of Julia Robert’s most memorable movies, "My Best Friend’s Wedding" (Aug. 3); and "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial" (Aug. 10) will conclude the summer film series.

As early as 5:30 p.m., you can bring beach chairs or other seats, snacks and picnics.

The Center will also have gourmet food trucks selling foods. Arrive hungry on Monday, July 13! Participating trucks will be Tri-Tip Man, Ninjas with Appetite, The Greasy Wiener and Bakery Truck

You can also arrive early for contests to win prizes that will include show tickets and various other fun items.
