Day of Hope and Health at Knott’s

April 08, 2013

If you’re touched by type 1 diabetes in your life, why not come out to a free, informative and fun event on Sunday, April 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the 5th annual Day of Hope and Health at Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel in Buena Park?

The program from JDRF includes diabetes education and information sessions; Dr. Francine Kaufman speaking on "The Common Bond of Diabetes Around the World”, T1D research updates, sports/exercise and T1D panel, pumps, CGMs and new technology; and much more.

You can also attend Knott's Berry Amusement Park after the event by purchasing tickets discounted to just $15 per person (*ticket orders must be placed by noon on April 19th.)

To RSVP, contact Michelle Popoff via email or call at 949.553.0363.

Parking at the Knott's Hotel costs $5 per car. If you go to the amusement park after the program, you can leave your car parked in the hotel lot (which saves you the $15 charge for parking in the Knott's Berry Farm main lot).

Knott's Berry Farm Hotel and Amusement Park is at 7675 Crescent Ave. in Buena Park.
