July 03, 2019

This Fourth of July, gather family and friends at Dana Point Harbor and look towards the sky over Doheny State Beach to experience south Orange County’s best fireworks display! Dana Point hosts one of the most spectacular fireworks shows in Southern California with its own customized playlist to sing along to. Dana Point Harbor will be the perfect lookout point to view this patriotic celebration!

The spectacular display begins at 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 4 and will light up the harbor with fantastic views from Baby Beach, the Island, and the many waterfront eateries within the harbor. Visitors can tune in to KSBR 88.5 FM and listen to patriotic music accompanying the display.

To avoid traffic, the Dana Point Trolley will drop off and pick up at stops #5 and #6 on July 4th in the Harbor from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the Harbor shuttle will pick up and drop off at the restaurants and retail area, Baby Beach and Ocean Institute from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be free bus service from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. to Dana Point Harbor.

Bus pick up to the harbor located on Golden Lantern, north side between Acapulco Drive and Stonehill Drive.

Limited parking will be available at Dana Hills High School, up Golden Lantern from the Harbor to Acapulco Drive. Additional parking will also be available on Golden Lantern and Stonehill.
