California Wine Festival Returns to Dana Point - April 19-20

April 09, 2024

The California Wine Festival is set to return to Dana Point for a two-day event on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20. Guests are invited to enjoy fine wines and culinary delights amidst the scenic settings of the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa and Sea Terrace Park.

The weekend kicks off on Friday evening with the Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting, tailored for wine enthusiasts. This special event offers a curated selection of hard-to-find reserve wines from California's esteemed regions. Guests can enjoy an intimate tasting experience against the beautiful Dana Point sunset, mingling with winemakers and proprietors.

Throughout the evening, attendees can participate in a silent auction featuring rare wines and experiences. Proceeds support the Sandy Feet Initiative, benefiting siblings of children with special needs.

On Saturday, April 20, the Beachside Wine Festival at Sea Terrace Park invites guests to explore wines from various California regions paired with gourmet fare from Orange County's restaurants. Attendees can sample hundreds of wines and craft brews amidst live entertainment and lifestyle exhibits. VIP ticket holders enjoy early admission and access to reserve wines and cuisines.

Sponsors like Wild Fork Foods will host engaging activations, offering a variety of meat and seafood items.

Guests can enjoy appetizers from popular South Orange County restaurants. The festival features rare vintages from Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and beyond.

Live music sets the tone for the festivities, with Chris Copeland performing at Friday's Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting, and Upstream at Saturday's Beachside Wine Festival, delivering reggae, calypso, and steel drum melodies.
