Brewery Tasting Room, Kansas City BBQ and Distillery in Irvine

September 14, 2018

Left Coast Brewing just opened a much-anticipated tasting room at Sand Canyon Plaza in Irvine. It features Kansas City-style barbeque, beer exclusive to the Irvine location, and a distillery.

The brewery pours its award-winning favorites such as Hop Juice Triple IPA, Trestles IPA, and Asylum Belgian Style Tripel Ale. The San Clemente-based company also offers a Smoked Saison; the very first beer brewed onsite in Irvine and an ode to the smokehouse cuisine. Guests can also enjoy Left Coast’s first ever vodka in craft cocktails, including Paradise Shores made with house vodka, coconut milk, mint, egg white, lemon, simple syrup, and pineapple.

Although the beer and cocktails are reason enough to stop by, you won’t want to pass up the food. Executive Chef Jason Tsiames spent months carefully perfecting his take on the barbeque and mastered classic comfort dishes such as beef brisket slow cooked then smoked for an incredible 75 hours, freshly baked cast iron cornbread, and specialty mac-n-cheese loaded with smoked pulled pork.

Open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (kitchen closes at 9 p.m.) Monday through Saturday. 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
