ADYA Celebrates National Margarita Day with Indian-Mexican Dinner

ADYA Executive Chef & Partner Shachi Mehra will initiate the year with a new ADYA Dinner Series, showcasing various themes and cuisines, each infused with an Indian twist. The series begins with an Indi-Mex Culinary Adventure in celebration of National Margarita Day on Thursday, February 22. 

This event will be held on ADYA's box car patio at the Anaheim Packing House and will feature a four-course dinner that highlights the bold and authentic flavors of Indian and Mexican cuisine, complemented by beverage pairings starting with a Tamarind Margarita.

ADYA DINNER SERIES - INDI-MEX CULINARY ADVENTURE

Menu Highlights:

Starters:

  • Papadum, Chips, Spice Girl Sauces
  • Tomato Chutney, Salsa Macha

Camote Chaat:

  • Crispy sweet potatoes, tamarind, yogurt, chickpea confetti

Beverage:

  • Tamarind Margarita

Tacos:

  • Jackfruit Vindaloo with chilies and pickled onions
  • Tandoori Shrimp with mint avocado chutney and toasted coriander

Beverage Pairing:

  • Golden Road Brewing Mango Cart with Masala Rim

Main Course:

  • Barbacoa Lamb Curry
  • Accompaniments: Roasted Squash Thoren, Basmati Rice, Garlic Naan

Wine Pairing:

  • Sauvignon Blanc, Brander, La Presa Vineyard

Dessert:

  • Cardamom Arroz Con Leche with Jaggery Caramel and Pistachios
  • Masala Chai

This culinary event promises to be a fusion of traditions and flavors, offering a unique dining experience.

ADYA Dinner Series’ Indi-Mex Culinary Adventure will be held on Thursday, February 22 from 6-8 p.m.  Pricing for this dinner is $125 per guest (includes four-course dinner, beverage pairings, tax and gratuity). Seating is extremely limited and guests must reserve seats in advance by emailing info@adyaoc.com.
