Now, you can find your favorite organic pantry staples and health foods without contributing to the waste cycle. Amis de la Terre Market is the brainchild of newlyweds Jessica Walden and Chris McGuire, two graduate students of the UCI Ph.D. program in Earth System Science. The newly opened Bloom Restaurant + Bar in San Juan Capistrano marks the fifth restaurant for owner Russ Bendel and his partners: chef Jared Cook, beverage director Gabe Whorley and operations VP Kyle Simpson.
