Jay Zhao, a young OC entrepreneur is behind the local grocery delivery app Sonic+ which was launched in April 2020, in response to the growing need for contact-free delivery due to the pandemic and California state and local shelter-at home orders. Sonic+ began as an efficient food delivery app (currently available in the App Store and Google Play) that provided Orange County consumers access to door-to-door, “contactless,” cost-saving, high-quality grocery delivery all from the comfort of their Smartphone.
