Wood Ranch Unveils WR Kitchen & Bar

Wood Ranch just opened a new restaurant concept, WR Kitchen & Bar in Laguna Niguel, with a second location set for fall in Carlsbad. WR Kitchen & Bar is tailored to today’s more sophisticated, time-challenged guest with a focus on serving delicious, high-quality food at an excellent value, in an energetic, casually-upscale environment.

Featuring a wood-fired open kitchen, WR Kitchen & Bar offers an a la carte menu, allowing each guest more options to customize his or her order with maximum flexibility in the selection of items and portion size. There will also be a wider price range, with items to accommodate everyone’s budget.

At WR Kitchen & Bar, guests will be greeted upon arrival and order at designated locations at the bar, and then can sit in the dining room, bar or patio where their orders will be delivered. Servers will stop by the tables to take additional orders for second cocktails, dessert or anything else a guest may want.

 WR Kitchen & Bar will offer Wood Ranch favorites including tri-tip, baby back ribs, the BBQ chopped salad, and fresh, house-made desserts, along with new items. Smoked Steelhead Trout will be available by itself, on salads and featured in a corn tortilla taco. Blistered Shishito Peppers and Brisket Caramel Popcorn are new snack items, and Brussels Sprouts with Bacon, Toasted Almonds and Shaved Parmesan will be among the new smaller dishes. There are also tacos, uniquely filled with a choice of brisket, pulled pork, smoked steelhead trout, roasted chicken or roasted cauliflower, as well as other new menu items.

WR Kitchen & Bar also features a full bar with hand-crafted batch cocktails, 12 craft beers on draft, and several outstanding value-priced wines.  

WR Kitchen & Bar is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., as well as offer online ordering and take-out.
