UMAMI BURGER DEBUTS “NEWMAMI” MENU EVOLUTION, INCLUDING NEW LIQUID MENU

March 22, 2021

Umami Burger, the beloved nationwide craveable burger concept by C3, just launched a menu of new and returning food and drink items. Returning to the roots it was founded on in 2009, the “Newmami” menu brings back old favorites from the original Umami Burger selection with updated buns and patty recipe, Impossible “meat” options, sides, appetizers, and desserts while introducing new, creative items and combination boxes for all cravings, such as The Umami-FRY ME Combo, The OG Umami Sampler, The Umami Deluxe Combo, and All About The Chicken Combo. The new menu items will be available at all 10 brick & mortar locations and 24 ghost kitchen locations globally, with signature menu items including:

Umami Burger – Umami sauce, 4 oz. smash patty, lettuce, pickles, tomato, caramelized onions, American cheese

Truffle Burger – truffle aioli, truffle fondue, truffle glaze

Pastrami Burger – pastrami, pepperoncini, sauerkraut, 4 oz smash patty, Dijon mustard, provolone

Sunnyside Burger – bacon strips, fried egg, 4 oz. smash patty, truffle aioli, tomato spread, lettuce, American cheese

In addition, C3 welcomes industry veteran Jason Jeffords to the team, who brings more than 20 years of experience working in some of the country’s most acclaimed restaurants and bars (New York City’s Gotham & Blue, Pegu Club, and Catch, to name a few), as the brand’s new Beverage Director. One of Jeffords’ first projects includes debuting a new drink menu at Umami Burger that ranges from local craft beer and wine to boilermakers (beer + shot combo) and classic cocktails on the rocks—with a unique twist—like the Old Fashioned, Mai Tai, Cosmopolitan, and Margarita. In addition, Jeffords has created a menu of milkshakes to accompany Umami Burger’s savory menu items, with elaborate, fun add-on toppings and options to make it “adulting” with booze. Sample flavors include:

Banana Matcha Shake – vanilla ice cream, matcha cream, banana, and whipped cream (add spiced Bacardi, coffee frosting, Coffee Nut M&Ms, and a tiramisu donut)

Piña Colada Shake – pineapple ice cream, coconut cream, coconut shavings, and whipped cream (add Malibu Rum, fresh pineapple, coconut frosting, and puffy pastry pineapple turnover)
