The Taste of Winter at Seasons 52

December 23, 2011

Seasons 52, the fresh grill and wine bar restaurant at South Coast Plaza just debuted a new winter menu inspired by abundant ingredients of the season. At the eatery, you can enjoy wood-fire grilled, brick oven cooked, and roasted specialties like

like venison chops and a farmer’s market veggie plate (none over 475 calories), sip a glass of one of the 60 wines available by the glass, and enjoy piano music in the evenings.

Chef Tim Kast is preparing an organic tomato stack salad with arugula, blue cheese, chopped bacon and a balsamic glaze; and grilled venison chop on venison and mushroom ragout with truffle mashed potatoes. Vegetarians will love the farmer’s market vegetable plate with roasted Bosc pears, butternut squash, grilled tofu and almond tabbouleh; or roasted spinach stuffed silver dollar mushrooms; golden beets with wasabi sour cream; and a limited time eggnog mini indulgence dessert.

Two new cocktails are also available, a Ruby Red Grapefruit martini with grapefruit-infused Prairie Organic Vodka and agave nectar; and skinny chocolate espresso martini with a mix of Voli Vanilla Espresso Vodka, chocolate coconut water and agave nectar.

Seasons 52 is at South Coast Plaza, is at 3333 Bristol Ave. in Costa Mesa. 714.437.5252.
