The Great Pacific Airshow
The Great Pacific Airshow returns to Huntington Beach on Oct. 4, 5, 6 combining the excitement of extreme sports, high-tech aerial maneuvers, beachside surf nostalgia, and patriotism for an unforgettable experience in the sand and on the water.
The 4th annual show line-up will feature headliners such as the US Air Force Thunderbirds, The Royal Air Force Aerobatic team The Red Arrows, and the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Canadian Snowbirds. Other talented performers include the US Air Force F-35 Lightning II and A-10C Thunderbolt II demonstrations, Lucas Oil Aerobatics’ Mike Wiskus, the SOCOM Para Commandos, a FedEx flyby, and the first ever dual Jetpack flight in an airshow, and many more.
It’s free to the public with a large event footprint spanning Huntington City Beach from Seapoint to Beach Boulevard. The Airshow will take to the skies from 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 4-6. VIP premium viewing tickets are available for purchase.
The festival area will open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Friday and 7 p.m. on Saturday. On Friday, Oct. 4, there will be a community reception at Pier Plaza in Huntington Beach from 6-8 pm to welcome the Airshow performers. This free event will include live music, and a performer Q & A and autograph session. Official Airshow merchandise will also be available.
Make it a day down at the beach and grab a bonfire pit to cook out while watching the show. Or grab a bite to eat at restaurants like Duke's, Sandy's that are right by the Huntington Beach Pier or Jack's and Zack's that are right by the viewing area of the airshow. Parking will be available but is limited, and any frequent questions about the show can be found here.
