Sweetgreen Hosts New Year’s Farmers Market in Huntington Beach

January 16, 2024

Sweetgreen is kicking off 2024 in style with a festive New Year's Farmers Market at its brand-new location in Huntington Beach on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (while supplies last). The restaurant's inaugural O.C. mini-Farmer's Market will shine a spotlight on the incredible suppliers within Sweetgreen's extensive network of trusted local farms across Southern California.

The first 200 lucky customers who join in on the Farmer's Market festivities will receive a complimentary Sweetgreen tote bag, perfect for filling with an array of fresh produce sourced from nearby farms. Many of these farms are conveniently located within a 90-mile radius of the event location (while supplies last).

Aside from indulging in the abundance of farm-fresh delights, attendees can also enjoy live acoustic sets performed by the talented local OC musician, Brandon Wildish. And if you're feeling hungry, you may order lunch from Sweetgreen’s menu of favorite salads, warm bowls, and new protein-packed plates.

Sweetgreen has lined up some fantastic suppliers for their Orange County locations, and the following will be on hand to distribute fresh produce and locally baked bread to the first 200 customers (while supplies last):

  • Rosemary Focaccia Bread from BREAD Artisan Bakery (Santa Ana, CA)
  • Artisan Farmstead Goat Cheese from Drake's Family Farms (Ontario, CA)
  • Romaine Lettuce from Coastal Fresh Farms (Oxnard, CA)
  • Cilantro from Coastal Fresh Farms (Oxnard, CA)
  • Avocados from GreenFruit Avocados (Mexico)

You'll find all the fun at sweetgreen Huntington Beach, situated at 18685 Main Street, #107, within 5 Points Plaza, right next to Trader Joe's.
