Spotting Anaheim Ducks at BaroloHere’s a hot tip for Anaheim Ducks fans: it’s been reported that many of the Ducks players and coaches dine at Barolo Café in Tustin for lunch when they have a home game. It's a small Italian Cafe near Old Town Tustin, owned by Chef Giuseppe Galietta. For nearly 23 years, he’s been in the same location serving genuine Italian cuisine always made to order.
They offer daily specials such as osso buco, cioppin, homemade ravioli, veal chop, risotto and more. Their focaccia bread is delicious, as are the homemade desserts.
Barolo has a sister restaurant, Barolo by the Sea on Balboa Island, that’s an upscale Italian restaurant that offers pizza at lunch and delicious entrees in the evening.
Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday; 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
The Barolo Café is at 13771 Newport Ave. in Tustin. 714.734.8882.
