September 11, 2023

The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar is hosting "MAUI STRONG," a fundraising event on Sunday, September 17, at its Newport Beach waterfront location. The event aims to support the Maui Strong Fund, organized by the Hawai’i Community Foundation. This fund is dedicated to providing relief through local aid groups responding to community needs.

Guests can participate in two segments:

This segment offers the chance to savor the flavors of Maui, including Hawaiian spirits like Koloa Rum, Pau Maui Vodka, and Meili Vodka, as well as beverages from Kona Brewing Company, Nutrl Hard Seltzers, and Happy Dad Seltzers. Traditional dance performances by Lokelani's Rhythm of the Islands will be enjoyed, alongside Island-inspired bites prepared by The Winery’s culinary team in collaboration with Melissa’s Produce and Anderson Seafood.

An exclusive live auction will feature enticing items, such as a Los Angeles Angels Honorary Bat Boy Experience, VIP wine tours and luncheons, a Duffy excursion, a Balboa Bay Resort stay, golf at Pelican Hill Golf Club, a Ferrari rental, and a year of dining with top regional restaurants.

"Taste of Hawaii Dinner" from 5 to 8:30 p.m., priced at $175 per guest. Executive Chef Yvon Goetz and his team will present a 4-course prix-fixe dinner featuring seafood and flavors from Hawaii, complete with a choice of wine, cocktail, or beer. The evening will also offer a special cigar selection from Ceron Premium Cigars.
