New OC Spa Offers Eastern Medicine & Luxe Treatments

Zianna Wellness, a new high-end spa and holistic wellness center is celebrating its grand opening Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Anaheim Hills. You can enjoy complimentary treatments, Champagne and lite bites.

More than two decades in the making, Zianna Wellness was built upon the principles and experience of founder and president Monica Pratt, who spent her early career in the nursing and beauty sector. After a difficult journey with the one-size-fits-all Western medicine approach, Pratt discovered holistic treatments and turned to acupuncture as a last ditch effort to cure her chronic pain, and was stunned by her results and recovery.

With the opening of her first day spa and wellness center, Zianna Wellness seeks to shift the local health paradigm with expertly trained therapists that address the root cause of the problem and allow healing to begin from within. Practitioners include an acupuncturist, herbalist, hypnotherapist, holistic nutritionist and an onsite chiropractor, all of which are woven into the conventional offerings of an upscale day spa.

Using only organic and natural products, and essential oils, Zianna Wellness is the first spa of its kind in Anaheim. You can choose from traditional spa offerings including signature facials and massages as well as wraps, hand and foot therapy and unique wellness services such as Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology and Endermologie. Other offerings include the Shirodhara Treatment, an oil-based massage that awakens the body’s intuitive knowledge and “third-eye,” and Reiki, an energetic healing technique that channels a ‘universal life energy’ to the client from the healer.

In addition to eight luxurious treatment rooms including a Vichy Shower room, spa-goers can indulge in an impressive array of complimentary amenities including a co-ed Relaxation Lounge, plush bathrobes and slippers, and an elegant spa boutique.

Open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
