Hotel Irvine’s First Backyard Block Party

Hotel Irvine’s expansive backyard will be the place to be Sunday, April 26 from 3 to 6 p.m. when the hotel kicks off its first Backyard Block Party. The fun-filled event will include food and drinks from EATS Kitchen & Bar and Red Bar and Lounge, along with tastes from some of Irvine’s top restaurants like Shirley Chung’s Twenty Eight, Mizu Sushi Bar and STAX Cookie Bar.

Attendees can sip local craft beers and wines as enjoy the sounds of local Irvine music groups like The Brevet, Yellow Red Sparks and Armors. And there will be game competitions such as cornhole, ping pong and lawn bowling.

The cost is $40 for adults age 21 and over with  access to all culinary vendors, including tastings, two drink tickets for beer and wine (cash bar will also be available), and complimentary self-parking, and access to all games and activities; $10 for child/student ages six to 20.

VIP tickets cost $75 for adults age 21 and over with access to VIP seating area, complimentary reusable water bottle, complimentary valet parking, access to Red Bar VIP Lounge, including unlimited cocktails and drinks, access to all culinary vendors, including tastings, Marketplace voucher valid for up to $12, and access to all games and activities.

Locals Nights at La Cave

It’s Locals Nights at La Cave Steakhouse in Costa Mesa. Bring up to two bottles of wine and the corkage is free on Monday and Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

The old school steakhouse is known for its delicious steaks, prime rib, twice baked potatoes and cheese bread, as well as classic cocktails and live entertainment.
