August 04, 2016

By Madison Wiesner

It seems that everyone and their dogs are looking forward to the start of the Rio Olympic this Friday. And to keep the excitement going, the Honda Center is having a free outdoor watch party with the local gymnastics community in order to cheer on the US Women’s Gymnastics team.

This Tuesday, August 9  at 7 p.m., the Honda Center is hosting a gymnastics watch party on 25-foot megascreens, complete with food trucks, face painting, and a patriotic sign making station. And if all of that wasn’t enough to get you excited for this party, you can receive autographed giveaways from USA Gymnastics, a commemorative gold medal, and a once in a lifetime chance to meet an Olympic gymnast!

The fun starts promptly at 6 p.m., so don’t be late!

Honda Center is at 2695 E. Katella Ave., in Anaheim.
