Hi-Time Wine Cellars 13th Annual Charity Chili Cook-Off

Hi-Time Wine Cellars will celebrate its 13th annual Charity Chili Cook-Off benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Central Orange Coast on Sunday, August 11 from 12-5 p.m. This year’s theme is “Rockin’ Blues” and guests are encouraged to wear their favorite blues-themed attire.

Attendees will sample chili and beverages from a wide variety of local businesses and organizations including The Alley, Asom Broso Fine Tequilas, Blue Marble Cocktails, Bluewater Grill, Bootleggers Brewery, Café International, The Cannery, Caliente, Costa Mesa Fire Department, The Country Club, Cutwater, Daily Squares Catering, Harp Inn, High Noon, Jim Beam, Juliette’s Kitchen, Newport Rib Company, Oak & Coal, Santa Monica Seafood, Sgt Pepperoni's, Social, Tabu Shabu, Tower 48, Towne Park Brew Co., Turner’s Pub 33, Whisk and Ladle Catering, Wild Goose Tavern, and William Hill Estate Winery.

Participating chefs will be competing for 1st through 4th place from a panel of esteemed judges along with 1st through 4th people’s choice awards. There will also be a prize for the most thematically decorated booth.

The Slimtones & All-Star Trio will provide live entertainment. The annual event benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Central Orange Coast and has raised over $250,000 to date.

General Admission is $10 and allows entrance from 12-5 p.m. The $20 ticket includes entry and 20 drink/raffle tickets. To avoid long entry lines, tickets can be purchased in advance at Hi-Time Wine Cellars or online at charity-chili-cook-off. Entry can also be purchased for $15 at the door or $25, which includes 20 drink/raffle tickets.
