GREEN SPRING CLEANING!

March 28, 2012

By Sheryll Alexander

We love using green products in the kitchen and all around the house, especially for spring cleaning. This year, why not take a hands-on class in a private Laguna home with a mother of five who specializes in all things natural?

Chelle Goodfriend, whom we have known for years as a caring health educator and top notch herbalist, is also a clinical aromatherapist and owner of Gaia's Garden Bath & Botanica, which offers organic, handmade, pampering and nourishing soaps and body care goodies. Now she is bringing her vast knowledge of all things natural to these private classes.

So, on Apr. 4 from 7-9 p.m and for just $25, you get to spend time with this wonder woman learning how to make inexpensive and toxic-free cleaning products. During the class and using just a few simple ingredients, you will make:

·         glass cleaner

·         all-purpose anti-bacterial cleaner

·         room deodorizers, air freshener

·         cleanser (for tubs, showers, pots n pans)

·         laundry detergent

·         toilet cleaner

·         furniture polish

·         drain cleaner

Participants will leave with a full bottle of anti-bacterial cleaner to take home. To register online, visit here
