Great Design is Within Reach

December 12, 2012

Orange County has been without a Design Within Reach for several years now, so we were excited to hear that the purveyor of modern design home

furnishings and accessories is back.  A DWR Studio just opened at the South Coast Collection  in Costa Mesa, and at 20,000 sq. ft. it’s reported to be one of the biggest in the country. The idea behind DWR is too offer iconic modern design furnishings that are easily accessible, as in, in stock. And to make the DWR experience even more approachable, DWR invites you to sit, touch and stay for a while.

DWR’s Curtis Lee and his staff of design experts want you to feel at home, and they’re more than happy to help you plan your space. At the new DWR Studio, you can peruse eight furnished areas for living, dining, bedroom and workspace for inspiration on living modern. And you’re welcome to sit down and test 50 dining chairs, and upholstery collections.

Top designers available include Philippe Starck, Charles and Ray Eames, Le Corbusier, and Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe. Recently added designers include Tom Dixon, Yves Behar, Nathan Young and Sean Yoo.

Open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

DWR Costa Mesa Studio is at 3303 Hyland Ave. in

Costa Mesa. 714.427.0628.
