Goodwill OF OC Temporarily CLosed for DOnations

April 15, 2020

In response to the global health crisis, Goodwill of Orange County has temporarily closed all of its stores and donation sites until further notice. Even with these closures, many in the community are still dropping off bags, boxes, sometimes truckloads, of donations to these sites. With the weather and pilfering, many of these donations will no longer be viable for reselling and become trash that we have to simply take to the landfill.

Their plea is simple during this time: please hang on to your donations until we reopen.

With more downtime and being at home, more and more people are cleaning out their closets and organize their garages. Goodwill asks that you please hang on to your unwanted goods for a donation –they will need your donations more than ever when we reopen. These donations provide revenue that funds their mission and their life-changing workforce development programs.
