Free Classes for Caregivers from Alzheimer’s Association

Caring for Someone with Mid-Stage Alzheimer's (Part 3) on Monday, August 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Huntington Beach. Alzheimer’s Association’s Orange County Chapter is offering a free class designed for the middle stage of Alzheimer’s disease, those who were care partners now become hands-on caregivers. You can join them for this 3-part series and hear caregivers and professionals discuss helpful strategies to provide safe, effective and comfortable care in the middle stage of Alzheimer’s.

Part three (3) of this series provides information on respite care options including informal care, day services, in-home care services and senior living options, as well as managing and coping with difficult feelings.
