Food, Crafts and Fun

November 19, 2012

The epicenter of handmade and local arts and crafts, foods and activities will return Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. just in time for holiday shopping in Downtown Santa Ana. The Road Less Traveled and Grand Central Art Center present the Patchwork Indie Arts & Crafts Festival where you can shop from more than 150 booths offering indie and local clothing for men, women, and kids; art, pottery and glassware; pet items; jewelry; soaps, candles, bath and body items; craft kits and patterns, knit and crochet items; stationary and paper goods; plushies, purses, handbags and more.

While you’re shopping you can snack on delicious creations from local restaurants and food trucks such as Coolhaus (ice cream sandwiches), Seabirds (vegan), Fresh Fries (fry treats), old vive café (artisan soups and grilled cheese) Orgasmo de la boca (sliders), Crème Caramella (scrumptious bread pudding), and more than a dozen food artisans. Beer and cocktail specials are available from the Gypsy Den, Memphis at The Santora and Lola Gaspar. Also, enjoy live music, DIY workshops, crafts and a photo booth.

Grand Central Art Center is at 2nd Street Promenade, Sycamore St. and 3rd St. in Santa Ana.
