September 06, 2024

On September 14, Centennial Farm will mark its 35th anniversary with a family-friendly celebration designed for all ages. This event will highlight the farm's rich history and its important role in agricultural education for the Orange County community and beyond. Attendees can look forward to a day filled with engaging activities, learning opportunities, and delicious food.

The celebration will feature a variety of activities, including close encounters with farm animals, where guests can pet and take photos with them. Children will have the chance to become "Farmers for a Day," participating in hands-on farming activities that are sure to delight.

Guided tours of the farm will offer insights into agricultural practices and the farm’s history. Guests can also enjoy a mouth-watering tri-tip lunch, with a vegetarian option available, and a scrumptious dessert. Each attendee will receive a commemorative gift bag filled with farm-themed goodies.

Additional activities, available for a separate fee, include Cow Chip Bingo, a unique and entertaining game with proceeds supporting agricultural education, and a raffle and wine pull, offering the chance to win fantastic prizes while further supporting the farm’s educational programs.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and tickets are priced at $45 for adults, $25 for youth (ages 6-17), and free for children aged 5 and under.
