Art in the Park Features 120 Artists

The Newport Beach Arts Foundation will hold Art in the Park on Saturday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Newport Beach Civic Center featuring more than 120 Southern California artists. Artists will display and sell their work in all media including painting, ceramics, photography, textiles, jewelry, glass, wood, and more.

Art in the Park, now in its 17th year, is the main source of funding for the Newport Beach Arts Foundation and contributes to the Foundation’s fundraising efforts for the Newport Beach Arts Commissionhelping to provide support for school tours, acquisition of significant works of art for the City of Newport Beach included in the Sculpture Garden located in the City’s Civic Center Park and for the City’s arts and cultural programming.

The public is invited to attend Art in the Park. Admission and parking are free. Attendees can meet the artists, see their work and have the opportunity to buy as well. There will also be free art activities for children provided by the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity.
