Butcher’s House Brasserie Expands Brunch

April 24, 2023

Butcher’s House, the acclaimed modern brasserie, announces the expansion of its brunch hours and the launch of a new brunch menu. Chef-Owner Jeoffrey Offer presents a thoughtfully curated selection of classic and contemporary dishes that highlight the antique craft of butchery and the essence of French cuisine.

Butcher’s House will now offer brunch Friday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Guests can indulge in bottomless mimosas for $18 while enjoying the sunny courtyard-facing patio overlooking SoCo’s central fountain, a perfect setting for a relaxing brunch.

“With warmer weather on the horizon for spring and summer, we’ve seen an increase in brunch traffic and interest,” says Offer. “Expanding our brunch hours allows us to introduce more guests to the rich traditions of Toulouse-style cuisine through the lens of our modern brasserie.”

New brunch offerings include Starters like the house-made, country-style Butcher’s House Pâté, a Prosciutto Board boasting 24-month aged Prosciutto di Parma and Brodier butter., and house specialties like the Toulouse Sausage. Brunch classics include Croque Madame with house-made béchamel, Parisian ham, and Comté cheese; Steak & Egg featured bavette steak grilled over an open flame with sauteed potatoes, pistou sauce, and a sunny side up egg; and a brioche French Toast topped with fresh berries and a salted caramel sauce. Lunch-focused items include a Steak Salad with grilled hangar steak, roasted bell peppers, and blue cheese; and the restaurant’s popular Butcher’s Burger with dry-aged beef, Nueske bacon, Comté cheese, and confit onions.

Offer’s new brunch menu is complemented by a carefully curated wine list featuring a variety of French wines to pair perfectly with each dish. The restaurant also offers a range of specialty morning cocktails, including an Espresso Martini, house-made Sangria, and sparkling options like the Lillet Rouge Spritz and Kir Royale

Butcher’s House is located at South Coast Collection in Costa Mesa (3321 Hyland Ave. Ste. D) and is open for dinner nightly from 5 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and brunch Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
